MEPs urge EU executive to produce plan for sustainable protein production

The Commission should urgently present a ‘comprehensive and ambitious’ EU strategy for the sustainable production of protein, with priority for protein crops and plant-based protein, the European Parliament’s agriculture committee agreed today.
