Bonn summit yields UN global agreement to limit chemical pollution

German environment minister Steffi Lemke has hailed a comprehensive Global Framework on Chemicals adopted at the end of the the Fifth International Conference on Chemicals Management (ICCM5) as successfully setting “a course towards a planet free of harm from chemicals and waste”.
