EU has ‘overlooked’ potential of geothermal energy, say MEPs

The EU has neglected the potential of geothermal energy to make a massive contribution to decarbonising the heating and cooling of Europe’s building stock, MEPs said this week, while giving their support to Polish lawmaker Zdzislaw Krasnodebski’s proposed parliamentary resolution on the subject.
