Environment committee backs ban of throwaway fast food packaging

MEPs have voted on restrictions on the use of disposable packaging, including a ban on disposable paper and plastic containers for use inside restaurants, but green groups said the rules have been “watered down”, while packaging producers expressed “deep concern”.
