Rise in electronic waste prompts NGO demand for action

A group of 27 environmental NGOs is appealing to the European Commission to urgently overhaul the Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Directive, following the publication of new Eurostat data that confirms more electronics are entering the EU market.
