MEPs tighten proposal on carbon removals certification

The European Parliament’s environment committee has backed a tightening of several aspects of a controversial proposal for a Carbon Removal Certification Framework (CRCF), but green groups say loopholes remain open that would allow for corporate ‘greenwashing’.
