NGOs flag risk of financial sector escaping environmental due diligence

Civil society groups have called on EU lawmakers negotiating a new Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive (CSDDD) to close loopholes that would allow the European financial sector to escape the level of environmental scrutiny required of other firms.
