Net Zero Industry Act: EU Council favours flexible carbon storage obligation

Member states appear to be broadly sympathetic to a leaked non-paper put forward by Denmark and the Netherlands, proposing to allow alternative CO2 storage providers to fulfil the mandatory targets for oil and gas producers under the Net Zero Industry Act.
