Chemours loses battle to overturn hazardous classification of GenX chemicals

The EU Court of Justice has thrown out a final appeal from Chemours NL, ending the chemical producer’s bid to overturn the listing of a PFOA substitute ‘GenX’ chemical as a substance of very high concern (SVHC).
