MEPs slam Norway’s ‘reckless’ proposal to open its waters to deep sea mining

An open letter from European lawmakers has called on Norway to halt proposals to become the first country in the world to commercially mine the deep sea, admonishing the EU’s Nordic neighbour to stop “pushing forward this destructive industry”.
