How the recession made CO2 emissions fall in 2008

Greenhouse gas emissions from the EU's energy and industrial sectors fell by 4-6% last year, estimate analysts after seeing data released by the European Commission and covering 80% of installations in the EU's emissions trading scheme (ETS).
