Slovakia appoints new environment minister

Viliam Tursky, formerly deputy minister at the ministry of agriculture, has replaced Jan Chrbet as Slovakia's environment minister. Mr Chrbet was dismissed from his post earlier this month over the sale of carbon credits (AAUs) to US firm Interblue (EE 06/05/09).
