EFTA scuppers Norway's CO2 tax exemption for gas

A proposal that would have largely exempted natural gas and liquid petroleum gas (LPG) from Norway's CO2 tax has been rejected by the European Free Trade Association. The surveillance authority says the plan is incompatible with EEA competition rules.
