Poland sells first surplus Kyoto carbon credits

Poland signed a deal with Spain on Monday to sell €25m worth of AAUs or surplus carbon credits it has accumulated under the Kyoto protocol. The revenue from the sale will be invested in greenhouse gas emission reduction projects.
