Anglo-Welsh body seeks to cut WFD's CO2 impact

The environment agency for England and Wales has proposed strategies for reducing the impact of the water framework directive on carbon emissions. Increased wastewater treatment in the UK could increase CO2 by 110,000 tonnes a year, it says.
