New cosmetics regulation tackles nanomaterials

Nanomaterials used in cosmetics will need to be defined, assessed and labelled under a new EU cosmetics regulation published in the bloc's official journal just before Christmas. It was adopted by legislators in March and replaces a 1976 directive.
