Decline in GM crop cultivation in EU last year

The cultivation of genetically modified (GM) crops in Europe fell by about 11% from 2008 to 2009, according to a report issued Tuesday. But cultivation worldwide grew by 7%. Almost half of this growth was in developing countries.
