Dutch carbon capture funding gets green light

The EU executive has authorised the Netherlands to grant €150m in state aid for a carbon capture and storage (CCS) project. Eon and GDF Suez will capture a quarter of the CO2 from a 1GW Maasvlakte coal-fired plant being built in Rotterdam.
