Denmark unveils plan to reduce fossil fuel use

The Danish government released an energy strategy on Thursday, setting targets to reduce fossil fuel use in the heat and power sectors by a third by 2020 compared to 2009 levels. The 'Energy Strategy 2050' also sets a long-term goal to phase out fossil fuels.
