EEA assesses CCS impact on air pollution

Ammonia and nitrogen oxides (NOx) emissions are likely to increase once Europe's coal and gas-fired power plants are fitted with carbon capture and storage (CCS) technology, according to a report by the European Environment Agency (EEA) published on Thursday.
