Sharp rise in EUA surpluses, survey shows

The number of companies with surplus EU carbon allowances (EUAs) has risen sharply, according to a survey presented in London on Tuesday. Market participants seem unwilling to sell their EUAs now, hoping for higher prices in a few years time.
