Norway raises carbon tax on oil industry

The Norwegian government has announced a near doubling of its carbon tax on the petroleum sector to 200 NOK (€26.3) per tonne, as part of a climate white paper issued on Wednesday. The country's climate goals for 2050 remain unchanged.
