French air council issues heavy metal advice
France's national air quality council has published a series of recommendations on reducing risks to human health posed by heavy metals. Top of the list is a call for tougher rules on preventing emissions from specific industry sectors. The sectors mentioned are: metallurgy, waste incineration, glass manufacture as well as any large combustion plant. See press release and air quality council's web pages.
